Winslow garden tour is offered

Photo by Jim Buckley The garden at Tess Kenna’s home will be one of eight beautiful Winslow gardens included in a Sept. 9 tour.

Eight Winslow gardens will make up a public tour scheduled from 3 p.m. until dark on Saturday, Sept. 9. Each garden is unique, and each gardener will share ideas and concepts of gardening. No admission will be charged.

The gardens on the tour include the Harvey garden, located at 205 W. Lee St.; the Knox garden, 320 Mulberry St.; the Rodriquez garden, 521 E. Maple St.; the Kenna garden, 332 W. Maple St.; the Larson garden, 515 N. Warren Ave.; the Mystery Garden, 518 N. Warren Ave.; the Gauthereau garden, 118 W. Aspinwall St.; and the Sweetland Community Garden, located next to the Winslow 9/11 Remembrance Garden.

The afternoon will provide approximately four hours of fantastic garden experiences. Just stop by any of these addresses and enjoy.
