The Navajo County Fair Rodeo lineup is set for this weekend, and promises to be full of excitement and fun for the entire family.
Rodeo lovers will not want to miss the action with top Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association bucking stock from Honeycutt Rodeo Company, rodeo clowns/barrelmen Ronald Burton and Mark Swingler, and a live video scoreboard with instant replays.
Events include bareback, saddle bronc, calf roping, steer wrestling, team roping, breakaway, barrel racing and bull riding. The gates will open at 4:30 p.m., with the action beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, and at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16. Added to the Saturday night excitement will be Xtreme Bronc Riding, which was previously set for Sunday.
On Sunday, Sept. 17, open barrel racing will be held along with pole bending. Entry fees will be collected at the announcers stand, and include $50 for open barrel racing and $25 for pole bending, with books to open at 9 a.m. and the action to start at 10 a.m.
Tickets are $13 for adults and $9 for kids 6 to 12, which includes the $5 fair admission. Kids 5 and under will be admitted free.
