Both Holbrook soccer teams have just two games left in the regular season and both are still looking for that first victory. Neither unit will be headed to the post-season.
The Roadrunners were well traveled last week. After playing at a tournament in Tucson, they hit the road again for a trip to Page, where they fell to the Sand Devils on Tuesday by a final of 6-3. On Saturday they were playing in Lakeside, where the Yellowjackets weren’t gracious hosts, defeating the struggling Holbrook team 13-0.
After playing Round Valley today (Oct. 11) in Eagar, they will play their final game of the year on Thursday, Oct. 19, when they host Payson.
The Lady Roadrunners hosted top ranked Northland Prep on Wednesday of last week, falling 9-1. On Saturday they fell to visiting Show Low by a final of 8-0.
After hosting Snowflake on Monday, they will close out the season on Tuesday, Oct. 17, when they host Round Valley.
