Raymond Gerald “Jerry” Peck passed away peacefully, yet unexpectedly at his home in Snowflake on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017.
There will be a family visitation at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, with the service following at 11:30 a.m., in the Main Street Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Snowflake.
Jerry was born Aug. 22, 1946, in Phoenix to Jack and Ruth Russell Peck. Three siblings followed, David (Rose) Peck, Janet Peck and Jacque (John) Larson.
His children are Jennifer (Victor) Contreras, Jeremy Peck and Jamie (Simon) Laguens. Also Shalay Branch, Jason (Rachel) Peck, Sean (Sarah) Peck and Tiawna Peck (deceased). He has 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His wife and best friend is Darlene Nichols Peck.
Jerry was very involved in the LDS church, serving in various leadership positions such as High Councilman, Bishop, Scoutmaster for years, YM president and others. He enjoyed serving in each position, but his first love was teaching the gospel.
Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor was in charge of the arrangements.
