Mobile STEM lab to deliver students a hands-on future

Vice President Vest also reported that monies from NPC’s participation in the SFAZ+8STEM Grant were used to create a mobile STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) lab by wrapping an existing NPC van with graphics to advertise the STEM program. The van was also outfitted with equipment to provide hands-on activities to school district students throughout the county.

NPC collaborated with the Navajo County Superintendent’s Office to create this mobile lab. One goal of this project is to increase student participation in the Navajo County regional science fair by 30 percent over a three-year period.
