Leonard Harold Hudson, 69, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017, in Show Low, surrounded by his loved ones. A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Love Lake Chapel in Taylor. The funeral will immediately follow at 11 a.m., with interment at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor.
He was born Jan. 7, 1948, to Wayne Ellsworth Hudson and Lottie Doris Blair Hudson in McNary.
On July 14, 1967, Leonard married his sweetheart, Thea. This year they would have celebrated 50 years together.
Leonard enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing, playing and watching sports, and gardening.
He was a lifelong member of the LDS church and enjoyed serving in many callings.
He will truly be missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Doris Hudson; his wife, Thea; his children, Lucretia (John) Olsen, David (Tami) Hudson, Brian (Valleri) Hudson, Aaron (Daphne) Hudson, Greg Hudson, Lindsay (Morgan) Watkins and Loni Butler; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Ellsworth Hudson.
Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor was in charge of the arrangements.
