Lady Wildcats take down Spartans with 51-33 win

Joseph City returned from the break with a 51-33 road win at Northland Prep on Thursday. That win was just their second regular season win of the season and their fifth overall victory. Sitting at 27th in the current 1A power rankings, the Lady Wildcats will certainly need to win a large number of their games in January if they want to qualify for the 16-team state tournament.

After hosting 30th ranked Mayer on Tuesday, the Wildcats will face rival Mogollon on Friday. That game, played in Heber, against the fifth ranked Lady Mustangs could prove to be a tough outing for the Lady Cats. On Saturday, Joseph City host 10th ranked Grand Canyon.
