It’s time to be a Dirty Bird…

Holbrook’s third annual Dirty Bird Mud Run is slated at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19, along the Little Colorado River. To get there, drive south on Navajo Blvd., cross the railroad tracks and the bridge, then turn right on South Apache Drive and follow it to the end of the street. The two-mile run will be covered in mud and feature obstacles throughout, including an under crawl, a log challenge and a tire run.

The Dirty Bird is open to anyone over the age of 10 and promises to be a great family event. The cost is $10 per person, $20 for teams of two and $40 for teams of four, with special rates for non-profit teams. Kids 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
