If you or your loved ones were exposed to radiation as a result of nuclear testing done in Nevada by living downwind of the Nevada Test Site between Jan. 31, 1951, and Oct. 31, 1958, and June 30, 1962, and July 31, 1962, in Apache, Coconino, Navajo, Yavapai or Mohave (north of the Grand Canyon) counties, you have been exposed, and are at risk for or have contracted cancer. The deadline for filing a claim under the Radiation Exposure Compensation Program is July 9, 2020, and any claims received after that date will be barred from compensation.
The Radiation Exposure Screening and Education Program (RESEP) aids thousands of individuals adversely affected, as well as those who mined, transported and processed uranium, at no cost.
