Carol Ann Hopkins, 68, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at her home in Taylor.
She was born May 4, 1949, in Batavia, N.Y., to the late Charles Henry Treat Sr. and Bernice Bertha Eichenberger.
Carol was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed being a part of a close knit group of friends where every week they would meet for cards. She looked forward to their meetings and the friendships they had. She worked for H&R Block for nearly 13 years in Snowflake.
Survivors include her son, Robert Spangler Jr. of Taylor; her two daughters, Suzanne Kroll (Ron) of Rimrock and Michelle Eftang (George) of Castle Rock, Colo.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her brother, Norman Treat (Pat) of Florida; and her dear friend, Winona Downs of Snowflake.
She was preceded in death by her dear husband, U.S. Army veteran Ronald Hopkins in 2000, as well as three brothers and a sister.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s name can be made to the American Cancer Society specifying uterine cancer.
Owens Livingston Mortuary of Snowflake was in charge of the arrangements.
