Nominations are sought for Lifetime Achievement Award
By Linda Kor
The Tribune-News will be presenting a Lifetime Achievement Award to an individual who, through the course of his or her lifetime, has made a considerable contribution to the City of Holbrook through efforts as a volunteer, innovator or leader in the community.
If you have a candidate you would like to have considered, please submit your form by Aug. 1 to The Tribune-News office, located at 200 E. Hopi Drive. Any forms received after this date will be considered for next year’s award.
The person selected will be honored with a presentation by the mayor of a picture plaque with the name, year of the award and a short biography of that individual. An identical plaque will be hung in The Tribune-News office along with those honored in previous years. In addition, a photograph and full-length feature story on the honoree will be published in The Tribune-News.
Nominations will also be accepted for two posthumous awards each year for those individuals who are no longer living, but who are deserving of the award.
For more information contact The Tribune-News office at (928) 524-6203.
